So there you have it .... 1988-2002. ProCARE has had a very loyal following and thanks to all of you, but it's time for you to move on into the 21st century with a new generation of bright-eyed bushy-tailed young gurus.
Whoever you are and wherever you may be, all the best for the future.

Update 18 May 2004
Two years later.
If any Home is showing a 'red flag' on the ProCARE splash screen (loss of registration), then download the Version 3.12 from the 'downloads" page.
This version does NOT require registration at all and will set you back to permanent "green flag" status.
Note: the 'ProCARE Complete Install' on the Download page is Version 3.12 and does not require any upgrade to be free of registration requirements.
Buying a new computer for ProCARE? See the Noticeboard.
Update 10 Jan 2007
It appears that ProCARE can run very sucessfully on both Win2000 and XP with the unexpected support therein of 16bit DOS programs.
Surprisingly, I have discovered ProCARE to be currently still in use in one of the largest resthome/apartment/hospital complexes in NZ.
So please discount the advice on other pages regarding
the unsuitability of ProCARE in anything other than Win 9.x
If you consider that you may have a use for it, feel free to download it
to investigate the possibilities.
ProCARE is now in the category of unsupported freeware.
P.S. I'm not in a Rest Home quite yet.
